We are Joshua and Hilary Helms. We have been happily married since October '04. We have an amazing biological 3 year old son, Jude. We are currently in the process of trying to fund an international adoption from Ethiopia. Our desire is to be obedient to the burden we feel God has placed upon our hearts of adoption. YES we are completely in uncharted territory and completely relying on God in ways we never have before! BUT... we are watching His story unfold before us and have seen Him provide in some incredible ways!
We are currently in the process of saving $6k-$8k, before turning in our official application with All God's Children International to help cover much of the initial upfront fees. We will be using this Adoption Auction Blog to help raise funds for our adoption savings.

We understand that this is our financial burden to bear. It is important for us to state that it is in no way an expectation of ours that you contribute – it is completely a personal choice. We're just trying to get creative and think outside of the box in ways we can save and we thought this would be a fun and unique approach to it!
